A county of small towns
Robertson County is directly north of Davidson County and borders Kentucky. Springfield is the county seat. It has more incorporated places than most Middle Tennessee counties, and most are small.
The cities and towns are Springfield, White House, Greenbrier, Coopertown, Cross Plains, Adams, Cedar Hill, Orlinda, plus parts of Portland, Millersville and Ridgetop that cross into neighboring counties. A small slice of Metro Nashville also falls inside the county line. Instant Locksmith TN serves all of these places and the farmland between them.
Robertson County towns and how we reach them
Linked towns have their own pages.
| Town | Part of the county | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Springfield | Center | County seat; homes, downtown businesses, car keys |
| White House | East, on I-65 | Commuter suburb on the Sumner line; rekeys and car lockouts |
| Greenbrier, Ridgetop | South | Residential; house lockouts, lock changes |
| Coopertown, Adams, Cedar Hill | West and northwest | Rural; longer drives |
| Cross Plains, Orlinda, Portland, Millersville | East and north | Mixed rural and suburban |
Interstates on the edges, two-lane roads in the middle
I-65 runs along the eastern edge of the county for about 20 miles and I-24 clips the southwestern corner for about 10. The middle of the county, including Springfield, is reached mainly by U.S. highways.
Inside White House city limits, Instant Locksmith TN generally aims to deploy within about one hour when feasible. Springfield, Greenbrier and rural Robertson County are served with an honest ETA instead. Either way it's not a guarantee: demand, technician availability, traffic, weather, exact location and job complexity all matter. Small towns toward the Kentucky line usually take longer. We give you an ETA when you order.
Common calls in Robertson County
Farm and rural properties
Padlocks on gates and sheds, outbuilding doors, and trucks locked far from the house.
Commuter vehicles
Many residents drive I-65 or I-24 into Nashville daily, so car lockouts and key fob replacement come up often.
Moving in
Growing towns like White House and Greenbrier see plenty of home sales — rekeying after closing is a simple way to make old keys useless.
Ordering
Order through our online form: pick a service, give your location, describe what's wrong, review the price and deposit, and submit. Or call us. On rural roads, add a landmark or cross street — it helps the technician find you faster.
We verify that you're authorized before opening any vehicle, home or building.
Locksmith pricing in Robertson County
The same price rules apply countywide. Standard key fob programming: quoted before dispatch; mailbox lock service: quoted before dispatch. Late and holiday multipliers:
- Standard rate: orders placed 7 AM–8 PM
- After hours (orders placed 8 PM–7 AM): 1.5×
- Federal holidays (calendar date and observed date): 2×
- Federal holiday, after hours: 3×
- No weekend surcharge
- Mileage: $1.25/mile beyond 5 miles from the city center
Multipliers apply to everything on the job (service, labor, parts and hardware) except the flat $15 (inside city limits) or $25 (outside city limits) service call and mileage. The after-hours rate is set by the time the order is placed. Holidays are U.S. federal holidays, billed on both the calendar date and the observed weekday. “Inside city limits” means inside a city’s or town’s legally recognized limits. Mileage is measured from the city center (downtown) of the nearest city we serve, and dispatch shows it before work begins.
Online orders pay the $15–$25 service call at checkout as the deposit: $15 inside city limits, $25 outside. It is a flat fee added to the service price, and the time-of-day multipliers never apply to it. See the Payment & Deposit Policy and full pricing details.
