What we are — and aren't

Instant Locksmith TN provides mobile locksmith services. We are not an emergency medical service, fire department, police department or rescue service. Our technicians are not trained or equipped to provide medical care, fight fires or respond to crimes in progress.

When we describe services as “emergency” (for example, emergency locksmith or after-hours locksmith service), we mean urgent locksmith needs such as lockouts or broken locks — not life-safety emergencies. Emergency and after-hours calls are billed under our normal rate rules; see pricing.

Call 911 first when

• A child, an at-risk adult (for example, an elderly person who has fallen) or an animal is trapped in a vehicle or building and may be in danger, including from heat or cold
• Someone is injured, ill, unresponsive or unable to get out
• There is fire, smoke or a smell of gas
• A crime is in progress or you feel unsafe
• You're stranded in a dangerous location, such as an interstate shoulder

Calling us is never a substitute for calling 911. Follow the instructions of the 911 dispatcher and emergency responders, and do not break windows or take risks that could injure you or anyone inside.

Arrival times are not guaranteed

Instant Locksmith TN is available 24/7/365 and generally aims to deploy within about one hour inside city limits in our core Middle Tennessee service cities when feasible, but arrival depends on demand, technician availability, traffic, weather, location and job complexity. Never wait for a locksmith when someone's health or safety is at risk.

ILT Lifesaver

Our ILT Lifesaver program offers free emergency entry when a child, a pet or an at-risk adult is trapped in a vehicle or residence and their life is in immediate danger. Before any forced entry, our technician must personally see or hear that the person's or animal's life is in immediate danger; a report alone does not authorize forced entry.
